We have learned that one of our reading "super powers" is partner power! Having a partner can help us when we get stuck, and it is just FUN! Our class did a WONDERFUL job of this today. Check out these pictures.
We had a blast investigating our five senses with our librarian, Mrs. Peebles. We explored our sense of touch by feeling different things inside of balloons and guessing what they were. We explored our sense of smell by smelling different scents on cotton balls and guessing what they were. We explored our sense of taste and used words like "salty," "sweet," or "sour" to describe what we were tasting.

Welcome! My name is Elizabeth McKenna, and this is my eighth year teaching kindergarten. I am thrilled to be a part of our eLc program and our FLE family! Beth Busbee is our outstanding teaching assistant who happens to be a lifelong educator herself. Thank you for allowing us to teach and learn with your child every day. We can't wait to get started!
