We read Dr. Seuss's Ten Apples Up On Top and then tested out our apple stacking skills in this STEM challenge! Uniform color reminders:
Monday-blue Tuesday- red Wednesday - green Thursday- white Friday - tie dye or yellow I have had a few questions come in about Valentines, so I thought I would make a little post to address those for everyone! If you choose to send them in, we have nineteen students in our class. The best thing to do is simply fill out the "from" portion of the card and leave the "to" portion blank (which makes passing them out so much easier for the students). Please do not feel the need to participate; it is entirely optional. Thank you!
Parents,
It is hard to believe we are almost to day 100 in our school year! Please see the flyer pertaining to an optional 100th Day Project. After learning all about winter weather, we were lucky enough to experience some here in Columbia over the weekend. Even though it wasn't much, looks like our students found a way to make the most of it! :)

Welcome! My name is Elizabeth McKenna, and this is my eighth year teaching kindergarten. I am thrilled to be a part of our eLc program and our FLE family! Beth Busbee is our outstanding teaching assistant who happens to be a lifelong educator herself. Thank you for allowing us to teach and learn with your child every day. We can't wait to get started!
